Wilderness 164T for sale

I have a Yellow 164T Willderness Palmento Tandem Kayak For Sale. This is a sit in, with two movable seats. The rear seat can be moved to the center posision with the rutter peddles, for control when using as a single. It has a rear rutter that can be moved up and down. It also comes with a storage cover, bailing pump, two racing paddles, car top carriers, and foam blocks. I am asking $650.00 it has been in the water four times since I bought it new.

2007 "Paddle of the Pass"at Matlacha

This "signature event" celebrates Southwest Florida's 190 mile marked paddling trail, The Great Calusa Blueway, which meanders from its southern tip at Bonita Springs to its northern-most points around Pine Island Sound and up the Caloosahatchee River. Festival goers and paddlers will be able to participate in a wide variety of events and activities countywide.

The third-annual Calusa Blueway Paddling Festival will take place between October 25 and November 2, 2008, in Lee County’s waterfront communities of Pine Island, Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel and Captiva islands, Bonita Springs and Estero, Cape Coral, North Fort Myers, Fort Myers, Alva and Buckingham.

Paddlers, competitors, families and outdoor enthusiasts from around Southwest Florida, the state and the nation are expected to attend this one-of-a-kind eco-event. Nine days of festivities will include competitive canoe/kayak races, a pro-am kayak fishing tournament, paddling clinics and demonstrations, seminars, family activities, archaeological and environmental events, guided tours, a speakers' series and more celebrations along the Great Calusa Blueway.

paddling in the rain

Today we dodged the bands of rain at Lido tunnels and had some fun.

We started out at 9am and went thru one tunnel before the thunder sent us back to shore. We waited for about a half hour before our second attempt to paddle. That was successful and we ducked into the tunnels for a light shower to pass. It was fun to see what the wildlife does during a shower. The larger white egrets got busy fishing, and the smaller herons hunkered down with us in the tunnels! Just when we thougt it would be safe to go out of the tunnel, another band of showers came! Thankfully the rain was warm and we did not have far to go. I have never been on the water in a downpour, and the sound was intense! The rain looked like it was hitting pavement, but the droplets splashed up at us.

It was a fun expierience that I hope you get to enjoy as well. sk

The Tarpon 120 is my favorite sit-on-top,and I wish I hadn't sold my last one! I'll spread the word that you have a couple for sale and see if you get some more calls right away.

Peace River

The club did a paddle on the Peace river May 10th, and it was so great, we want to do it again!!

A trip to Solomans castle after the paddle completed the day.

The river was perfect for beginners or children, as the flow is slight and lack of rain made it crystal clear. There were loads of fish, bird life and very little boat traffic. AND the fossiling was awsome, many sharks teeth and fosilized bone, clams, wood and other stuff we cant identify but think its something!!! We may replace the Alifia river trip in june with this one! Come on, lets go paddle!!!
